Winter Olympics 2014 skiing schedule: Men’s giant slalom takes place on Wednesday
There are a total of four medal events in alpine skiing, biathlon and cross country skiing set to take place Wednesday. Here’s the complete schedule for the day.


American Bode Miller is looking to add to his medal count in his final Olympic games when skiing continues at the Winter Olympics on Wednesday. Four gold medals will be up for grabs in three different sports, with the top event of the day the men’s giant slalom, which will be live at 2 a.m. ET. Miller, after taking the bronze in the Super-G, will face competition from Norway’s Kjetil Jansrud, who beat Miller for the Super-G gold. Ted Ligety, Tim Jitloff and Jared Goldberg are the other American skiers competing. Austria is looking to add to their five medals in alpine skiing, led by downhill champion Matthias Mayer.
The other skiing events of the day include the mixed relay in biathlon, and both men’s and women’s team sprint in cross country. Here is the complete schedule for Wednesday (all times ET, medal events in italics):
