The Washington Wizards solidified the backcourt depth behind All-Star John Wall, acquiring Andre Miller while sending away Jan Vesely, Eric Maynor and at least one second-round pick.
Nuggets downgrade for no reason

After the losses of Andre Iguodala to trade and Danilo Gallinari to injury, Lawson has been the team’s only offensive playmaker in the starting lineup, asked to create the entirety of the team’s offense for the majority of the game. And after the season-ending injury to Nate Robinson, the team’s only other significant offensive initiator, this over-reliance has become even more jarring.
Clearly, the best way to solve this problem was to downgrade at point guard.

Andre Miller was more or less dysfunctional with the Nuggets, leaving the team after fighting with coach Brian Shaw over minutes. So you’d think he’d be pretty happy to be headed to the Washington Wizards, where he can play behind the talented young backcourt of John Wall and Bradley Beal.
But... maybe he isn’t?
