2014 Olympics: Event schedule for Friday
It’s Team USA vs. Canada, Part 2. The men’s semifinal clash is the biggest event on Friday, but it’s not the only one. Here’s the complete Sochi schedule for the day.

For most Americans, there is only one Olympic event they care about on Friday, and that’s the U.S. men’s hockey team’s matchup against Canada in the semifinal round. One of the most anticipated games of the entire Sochi Olympics, this is a rematch of the epic gold medal match in Vancouver. The American men will try to avoid the same fate as the women, who suffered a devastating overtime loss to Canada on Thursday.
That game should be excellent, but there are plenty of other events happening on Friday. Curling wraps up with the gold medal round between Canada and Great Britain. Alpine skiing has the women’s slalom event, freestyle skiing features the women’s ski cross, and there are a handful of speed skating events set to take place.
Here’s the complete schedule for a busy day of Olympic action. All times are ET and medal events in italics.
