2014 Olympic curling medal events schedule: Canada, Great Britain battle for the gold
Everyone’s favorite Olympic sport concludes on Friday. We’ll miss it too, but first we have the two men’s medal events on the schedule, with Sweden and China playing for the bronze and Canada and Great Britain in the gold medal match.

Curling finally comes to a close on Friday, to the dismay of many Olympic fans. Fortunately, things should end with a bang when the men’s medal rounds take place.
The bronze medal game features China and Sweden at 3:30 a.m. ET. The Chinese finished third in round robin play and were then bounced by Canada, 10-6. They are still looking for their first curling medal in Olympic history. The Swedes had the best round robin record at 8-1, but they were upset by Great Britain in the semis.
Speaking of Great Britain, their unlikely run continues when they take on the Canadian juggernauts. The Brits scored a memorable 6-5 win over Norway in the tiebreaker round, and they kept things up with another 6-5 nail-biter over Sweden in the semis. Canada is a formidable opponent, having won two gold medals in a row, but Great Britain hope to have a little magic left in them for the final round.
Here’s the complete schedule (all times ET).
