Women’s alpine skiing finishes up on Friday with the marquee slalom event, and Tina Maze hopes to add another medal around her neck. The slalom begins at 7:45 a.m. ET and will consist of two runs.

Maze has been the pride of Slovenia in this year’s games, winning the gold in giant slalom and sharing first place with Switzerland’s Dominique Gisin in the downhill race. Her biggest competition is Germany’s Maria Hofl-Riesch, who won the gold in this event in Vancouver and added two more medals this year, including the gold in combined and silver in Super-G. Mikaela Shiffrin is the top American competing.

Other skiing action on Friday comes in the women’s ski cross, which starts with the qualification round at 2:45 a.m. As with the men’s ski cross, 32 athletes will race to determine seeding for the 1/8 final, which consists of eight heats of four skiers each. The top two in each heat move on to the quarterfinals. France had a clean sweep of the podium in men’s ski cross, and there will four French women hoping to do the same. There are no Americans competing in this event.

The other skiing event of the day is the women’s biathlon relay, which begins at 9:30 a.m. Here’s your complete schedule for the day (all times ET, medal events in italics):
