Sochi 2014: Event schedule for Saturday
The U.S. men’s hockey team plays for the bronze, and the men’s slalom takes place. In addition, the four-men bobsled teams start their runs in a busy day of Olympic action. Here’s the complete schedule for Saturday.

We’re heading into the second-to-last day of the Winter Olympics, and there are plenty of high-stakes events on the schedule for Saturday.
For American fans, the top event is the men’s ice hockey bronze-medal match between the United States and Finland. The U.S. missed a chance to play for Olympic gold this year, falling to Canada, 1-0, in the semifinal round. Finland lost to Sweden, 2-1. The Fins will try to defend their Vancouver bronze medal. The game starts at 10 a.m. ET.
The other big event of the day is the men’s slalom run. American Ted Ligety had an incredible run in the giant slalom, taking home a gold medal. He will try to add a second one around his neck, but has competition from Frenchmen Steve Missillier and Alexis Pinturault. This event begins at 7:45 a.m.
Other events include the start of the four-man bobsled run, snowboarding parallel slalom and the team pursuits in speed skating. Here’s your complete schedule for Saturday (all times ET, medal events in italics).
