How to watch 2014 Winter Olympic hockey online, TV schedule and more
It’s Canada vs. Sweden in the final Olympic event of Sochi. You can catch the game live on NBC in the early morning.

Men’s hockey reaches its climax on Sunday morning, when Canada and Sweden face off for the gold medal at 7 a.m. ET. NBC is giving this the red carpet treatment, airing the game live on its mothership network. It will also be streamed on NBCOlympics.com.
The final event of the Sochi Olympics will see the Canadians trying to defend the gold medal they earned in Vancouver. They had little trouble in group play, although Latvia gave them all they could handle in the quarterfinals. Canada recovered to dominate the United States in the semifinals, 1-0, in a game that wasn’t nearly as close as the score indicates. They are heavy favorites against Sweden.
The Swedes won the gold at Lillehammer in 1994 and Turin in 2006. However, their Vancouver performance left something to be desired, as they finished in fifth place. This year, they’re back in the title game and guaranteed to add a ninth medal to their Olympic record. What color that medal ends up being will depend on their ability to solve Canada’s smothering defense.
