The team figure skating events are a new addition to the 2014 Winter Olympics. Saturday was filled with team competition, and Sunday should provide a clearer picture of which countries will have a chance to earn a medal.

Medals will be handed out in team figure skating on Sunday.


Russia is the early favorite to win after a dominant showing on Saturday. The Russians have placed in the top three of every figure skating event so far.
Still, the United States has a chance to hang onto a medal and even push for silver. Meryl Davis and Charlie White won the Short Dance Ice Dance portion of the competition and helped the Americans stay in third place.
