‘Towns of Repute’ bracket: the open thread

Today, we consider our nation’s cultural meccas: Accident, Maryland. Burnt Corn, Alabama. Wankers Corner, Oregon. And 63 other town names that we promise are not made up. We’re giving away an Xbox One, and we’re debating the tournament in the comments below.

With our “Best Condiments” bracket in the books, we now move on to a tournament even grander in scope:

THE “TOWNS OF REPUTE” TOURNAMENT.

Click that link to fill out a bracket that includes the 64 most notable town (or unincorporated community) names in America. The names, unbelievably, are all real. If you fill out a bracket, you’ll be entered in a random drawing to win a prize package which includes an Xbox One with Titanfall, as well as a $100 Shell gas card, so you can go to one of those God-forsaken places.

Feel free to debate the contenders in the comments below. And if you’ve ever been to any of these places, of course, we’d love to hear from you.
