Manny Pacquiao’s unanimous decision victory over Timothy Bradley puts him in a familiar situation. Fans will once again talk about a potential bout with Floyd Mayweather, a fight that simply will not happen due to a number of factors.
Manny Pacquiao’s next fight: Says he’s willing to fight Marquez a fifth time
Manny Pacquiao is willing to step into the ring against Juan Manuel Marquez for a fifth time if that’s what promoter Bob Arum decides is best.

So, with the Mayweather fight not happening, what is next for Pacquiao?
The seemingly logical choice is a fifth fight with Juan Manuel Marquez. The two men have fought four times, three ending in somewhat controversial decisions for Pacquiao, the most recent ending when Marquez knocked Manny out cold.
That knockout was a sort of perfect storybook ending. But, the two men generate good money at the gate and on pay-per-view and both are promoted by Bob Arum, making it a fight that seems to make sense for all involved.
Pacquiao stated after the fight that he would be willing to fight Marquez in a fifth bout, but ultimately is leaving it up to Arum.
Arum has repeatedly floated the idea of the fifth fight, so that would seem to be a very real possibility at this point.
