WNBA Draft 2014: Time, TV schedule, order and more

The Connecticut Sun have the top pick in the draft Monday and are expected to take Stanford’s Chiney Ogwumike.

The 2014 WNBA Draft will take place Monday night at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, with coverage tipping off at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2. The entire first round will be televised on ESPN2 before coverage shifts to ESPNU for the second and third rounds.

The Connecticut Sun hold the top pick in the draft for the second time in franchise history after winning the WNBA Draft Lottery in December. The Sun finished in last place last season and are expected to take Stanford’s Chiney Ogwumike, although Baylor guard Odyssey Sims is also on the team’s radar.

Ogwumike led the Cardinal to the Final Four and just won the Wooden Award as the top female player in the country. The forward averaged 26.5 points and 12.1 rebounds this season, and she ended her college career as the Pac-12’s career scoring leader.
