Blue-chip Ohio State linebacker Raekwon McMillan is a merciless art critic.
We found out earlier this month that Georgia coach Mark Richt has been sending recruits drawings in hopes to convince them to sign with the Bulldogs. They’ve gotten some good reviews. One recruit tweeted “Really makes an impact!”
But one former recruit wasn’t pleased. Georgia commit Lorenzo Carter suggested, tongue-in-cheek, to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, that his friend Raekwon McMillan may have been so turned off by the picture that he signed with Ohio State instead.
How would you rate the quality and accuracy of your UGA portrait? “I looked good in (the portrait), compared to how I look in real life. Raekwon’s picture didn’t look good. It was ugly. He didn’t like it. That’s probably why he didn’t come to UGA (and signed with Ohio State).”
Well, you can’t please everyone.
