Over an inch and a half of rain fell on Pimlico Race Course on Friday creating a very wet and muddy track. The rain is gone as high pressure builds in over the region. Temperatures will be slightly cooler than Friday but still comfortable in the upper 60s to low 70s.

After the yeah rains on Friday, we dry out for today’s Preakness Stakes. Weather forecast calls for a mixture of sunshine and clouds through out the day. Winds will be light out of the north-northwest between 5 and 10 mph. Temperatures for most of the morning and early afternoon will be in the mid to upper 60s. By the time the Preakness starts temperature could be at or near 70 degrees. No rain is expected this afternoon.
