Floyd Mayweather and Marcos Maidana are set to fight Saturday night on Showtime pay-per-view. At this point, one would think that all the details have been ironed out. Ring size, entrance order and gloves should all be things that everyone has already agreed on.
Mayweather vs Maidana: Camps arguing over gloves 24 hours out from fight
One day out from the start of the Showtime PPV for Mayweather vs. Maidana, the two camps are arguing over which gloves will be used.

But boxing is hilarious, so we’re 23 hours out from the start of the pay-per-view broadcast and threats are being made about the fight potentially not taking place as the Mayweather camp is unhappy with the choice of gloves for Maidana.
SB Nation partner Fight Hub is on the scene and was tweeting out details:
I guess Floyd heard about it, and he was vehement about not wanting those gloves used & said "No way, he's not going to be using...."
— Fight Hub TV (@FightHubTV) May 3, 2014 "those gloves, there's no padding in them. I'm not going to be no vegtable for the rest of my life."
— Fight Hub TV (@FightHubTV) May 3, 2014 The gloves in question, Everlast MX, appear to not have enough padding in the glove portion and too much in the wrist for Mayweather’s liking.
The fight will go on. No one is going to lose all this money at the last minute. It’s posturing, plain and simple. But the fact that this can even happen in a sporting event that has millions upon millions of dollars involved is undeniably hilarious.
