Crisp's great grab kept a tight 1-0 game close, though the A's would go on to lose to Seattle in extra innings. He was replaced in center field by offseason acquisition Craig Gentry, departing the game with what the A's are calling a strained neck.
Crisp is day-to-day with the injury per MLB.com’s Jane Lee, and is not in the starting lineup for game two of the doubleheader. He was hitting .255/.351/.404 on the season with three home runs and seven stolen bases, playing in 27 of Oakland’s 33 games.
