On Saturday we saw the four teams from the first bracket group take the field in Omaha. On Sunday it will be the other half of the bracket -- which includes the two remaining national seeds -- playing ball for the first time in the College World Series.
College World Series 2014 schedule: National seeds in action on Day 2
Virginia and TCU, the only surviving national seeds from an upset-riddled tournament, take the field on Sunday.

The early afternoon game is between a pair of Lone Star State and Big 12 foes, Texas Tech and TCU -- the fifth meeting of the year between the two. The season series is split down the middle, but it was Tech who took the three-game conference bout back in March. TCU starter Preston Morrison, who’s been tabbed ahead of usual No. 1 option Brandon Finnegan, lasted just two innings on that Saturday, allowing four runs and six hits in the loss. Chris Sadberry, who will take the mound for the Red Raiders, allowed just one run and picked up the clinching Sunday win of that series.
TCU coach Jim Schlossnagle told the Star Telegram the decision to hold the left-handed Finnegan is based on matchups. On Tuesday the Horned Frogs will have to face either Virginia or Ole Miss, two lineups studded with lefty sluggers.
Those lefty sluggers will be on display in the nightcap as the Rebels and Cavaliers face off. Sikes Orvis is the bat to watch for Ole Miss -- he finished second in the SEC in home runs and is one of the few players in Omaha with the potential to send one out of the monstrous park. Mike Papi has plenty of pop on the other side for Virginia, something the Cleveland Indians saw when they took him in the first round of MLB Draft two weeks ago.
