Soccer star Hope Solo was arrested at the home she shares with her husband, former NFL player Jerramy Stevens, overnight for allegedly striking her sister and her nephew, according to Jennifer Sullivan of the Seattle Times. She is being held without bail for two counts of investigation of domestic violence assault.

Solo reportedly got into an argument during a family gathering. Kirkland police said that officers were called to the home because of an assault and noise disturbance. At some point during the party, Solo allegedly assaulted her sister and her nephew.

She is currently the goalkeeper for the Seattle Reign FC in the NWSL, but Solo gained fame as the goalie for the U.S. Women’s team. She is a pivotal part of the national squad, appearing in 151 games with the club. Qualifying for the 2015 Women’s World Cup begins later this year, and Solo was expected to be a key player for the United States during their attempt to qualify.
