Giovani Bernard and Jeremy Hill both put up nice fantasy lines in win

The Bengals look like a legitimate contender and their running game is pounding teams. We break down the fantasy implications.

Joe Robbins

Cincinnati Bengals running back Giovani Bernard continued his magnificent sophomore season during an easy 33-7 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 3, scoring two touchdowns with 47 rushing yards and 7 receiving yards. Jeremy Hill added his second touchdown on the season with 39 rushing yards on just seven carries.

The Bengals have an amazing defense and they continue to shut down their opponents. It’s led to some great performances out of both of their backs, with Gio making a claim for one of the best dual-threat running backs in the NFL. Hill hasn’t been too shabby either and has been above 4.7 yards per carry in each of his three games as a pro.

Fantasy impact: The Bengals look like they’re on pace for a bye in the AFC and they’ll be counting on their running game for the entire season. Gio is locked and loaded as a strong RB1 while Hill is a nice flex option in most formats.
