If you started a list of players who were creating the most buzz in the preseason, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jordan Matthews would have been right at the top of the list. He was open like a 7-11 and was getting serious looks in the slot for what looked to be an unstoppable offense.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 5: Jordan Matthews looks to get it turned around
Jordan Matthews had as much buzz as any receiver in August. Should fantasy owners still trust him this week?

Well, Matthews has yet to light it up, coming in as the WR25 in PPR leagues. He’s also coming off his worst game of the year with just three catches for 50 yards and no scores. That also came against a vulnerable Washington secondary.
This week, he gets what is a tough matchup on paper against the New Orleans Saints. Surprisingly, the Saints are the fifth-toughest matchup for fantasy receivers. However, they are coming off two games against teams with very weak receivers, the Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers.
Fantasy impact: This looks like a big game on the way for Matthews. Start him in all leagues.
