With three of the four groups decided and six of the eight knockout stage teams set in stone, we move forward to the final day of group play at 2015 Worlds Sunday.
League of Legends World Championship 2015 scores: Fnatic wins Group B, ahq advances
After a promising start to the tournament, North America will be left without a team in the quarterfinals.

To recap: Flash Wolves won Group A, with KOO Tigers also advancing. SKTelecom T1 strolled through Group C uncontested, with Edward Gaming also moving along. And in Group D, KT Rolster took the No. 1 seed with Origen at No. 2.
Fnatic and ahq made it through Group B, as North America’s slide in the second week continued. C9’s 0-4 day brought NA to 0-10 in the second week, and no North American team advanced to the quarterfinals.
Full scores, stats and recaps below as each game finishes. You can find the schedule and quarterfinal bracket here.
ahq e-Sports Club vs. Invictus Gaming
ahq 14-6, 34:42
Bans: Azir, Viktor, Yasuo; Gangplank, Mordekaiser, Tahm Kench
| ahq | KDA | CS | IG | KDA | CS |
| Ziv (Darius) | 3/0/8 | 330 | Zz1tai (Olaf) | 3/2/2 | 278 |
| Mountain (Elise) | 3/3/6 | 103 | KAKAO (Hecarim) | 0/3/6 | 119 |
| Westdoor (Fizz) | 4/1/3 | 309 | Rookie (Lulu) | 1/3/2 | 284 |
| AN (Kalista) | 4/1/5 | 303 | Kid (Jinx) | 2/2/3 | 283 |
| Albis (Thresh) | 0/1/7 | 14 | Kitties (Janna) | 0/4/4 | 16 |
Could Invictus Gaming turn it around after a poor first week? Not in the first game, even though Lulu made it to red side in the draft. Westdoor’s signature Fizz had another excellent game, while Ziv and AN came through with strong performances on Kalista.
IG held the slight gold lead for much of the early game, but a 2-0 fight for ahq around 20 minutes in swayed the gme. At 26 minutes, ahq won a big fight 5-3, swaying the game in its direction and snowballing from that point.

FNC 26-8, 22:03
Bans: Veigar, Tahm Kench, Azir; Gangplank, Mordekaiser, Lulu
| FNC | KDA | CS | C9 | KDA | CS |
| Huni (Gnar) | 4/4/11 | 141 | Balls (Darius) | 2/6/3 | 121 |
| Reignover (Elise) | 8/3/8 | 74 | Hai (Lee Sin) | 5/5/2 | 60 |
| Febiven (Viktor) | 6/1/6 | 217 | Incarnation (Orianna) | 1/5/2 | 182 |

| YellOwStaR (Shen) | 4/0/10 | 29 | LemonNation (Morgana) | 0/6/2 | 10 |
Fnatic picked up an early two kills mid lane when Reignover took out Hai and Yellowstar was able to follow up by killing Incarnation. Fnatic’s good start continued, as LemonNation face-checked a bush in lane, leading to a Rekkles kill after a YellOwStaR Taunt, and Incarnation died again on Reignover’s second trip mid. Reignover picked up kill No. 3 on a gank of Balls, but Huni died to turret aggro , making it 5-1.
Fnatic’s duo lane of Kennen/Shen, one of the more unconventional picks of the tournament so far, was just way too much for Cloud9 to handle early. FNC took a 13-4 lead 11 minutes in for one of the largest early leads at Worlds. The explosive plays continued for both teams, but especially for Fnatic, with a 17-6 lead at 15 minutes.

— LoL Esports #Worlds (@lolesports) October 11, 2015 Just a minute later, Fnatic won a team fight 4-0, and low-health Reignover and YellOwStaR were still able to take out full-health Incarnation out of the base. An early inhibitor meant a 21-minute team fight win for Fnatic allowed them to close off the game, securing the win.
It’s hard to even blame Cloud9 for this one. Hai played a solid game on Lee Sin, but Fnatic looked as good as it did at any point in its undefeated LCS Spring Split run.

| Albis (Thresh) | 0/2/10 | 19 | LemonNation (Braum) | 1/5/2 | 26 |
After a slow start for both teams, ahq took an extended team fight bottom 4-2, getting two kills onto AN and the first significant gold lead of the game. C9 followed that up by picking off Ziv in the jungle and taking down Albis in the ensuing fight, evening up the game.
AN continued his strong play in the game, picking up two more kills and helping ahq take a 7-4 lead. Sneaky and Balls were both caught completely out of position, in between all five ahq players (and not together, either), and two ensuing ahq kills made it an 11-4 lead and a 24-minute Baron.
A 4-0 fight for ahq in Cloud9’s base at 27 minutes allowed the Taiwanese squad to end the game, making the rest of the day completely wide open.

| Kitties (Annie) | 0/3/4 | 9 | YellOwStaR(Braum) | 1/1/9 | 29 |
Huni’s Riven picked up First Blood thanks to an early gank from Reignover, and a teleport bottom lane helped turn a team fight in Fnatic’s favor and gave Huni the quadra kill. IG attempted to gank his 5/1/0 Riven for some reason, making him 6/1/0 soon after. IG was able to pick off Huni 4 vs. 1 while Fnatic picked up Dragon 2, but the Riven remained powerful throughout the game.
Fnatic was able to burst Baron down at 21 minutes, picking up three kills in the ensuing team fight. That broke IG’s base, taking down the middle inhibitor, and from there Fnatic cruised. Rekkles pullled off the team’s second quadra of the game, knocking iG out of the tournament.
You can watch both of the quadras here.

Invictus Gaming 29-14, 46:46
Bans: Jinx, Lee Sin, Lulu; Mordekaiser, Gangplank, Azir
| C9 | KDA | CS | IG | KDA | CS |
| Balls (Darius) | 3/7/2 | 252 | Zz1tai (Gnar) | 3/5/15 | 298 |
| Hai (Elise) | 1/8/8 | 140 | KAKAO (Nidalee) | 6/3/13 | 190 |
| Incarnation (Veigar) | 5/4/5 | 329 | Rookie (Lissandra) | 7/3/15 | 388 |
| Sneaky (Tristana) | 4/5/4 | 339 | Time (Kalista) | 10/1/12 | 405 |
| LemonNation (Morgana) | 1/5/8 | 52 | Kitties (Kennen) | 3/2/17 | 54 |
After Hai attempted a gank on Rookie mid lane, KAKAO put himself in perfect position to pick off Hai and get First Blood. A four-man gank top gave Time a kill onto Balls, and IG soon found itself with an early 3-1 lead. After a 1 for 1 trade, C9 earned two unanswered kills thanks to perfect plays from Sneaky and Incarnation.
Sneaky was picked off after a poor decision to hang near a bush with four IG members hiding in it, and a 2-1 fight for IG made it 7-5. Incarnation prevented another team fight from opening up when his Primordial Burst took out Zz1tai from half health to zero right before Mega Gnar activated.
The next team fight went in IG’s favor anyway, picking up three kills and moving substitute Time to 5/1/1. That allowed IG to pick up a 26-minute Baron, but C9 was able to prevent any significant siege. With Dragon 5 available for IG and Baron also up, C9 was able to outzone IG and take its first Dragon of the game. IG won the ensuing team fight 3-2.
IG picked up Baron a few minutes later and very nearly aced C9 to win the game, but Incarnation was able to maneuver his way to safety while picking up two kills. C9 was somehow able to pick off Rookie while down 10k in gold, and picked up the first inhibitor of the game as a result. The next Dragon fight gave IG Aspect and the ace, and after another ace IG took the win.

FNC 24-23, 49:26
Bans: Fizz, Rek’Sai, Diana; Azir, Gangplank, Mordekaiser
| FNC | KDA | CS | ahq | KDA | CS |
| Huni (Ekko) | 8/5/8 | 417 | Ziv (Kennen) | 2/6/6 | 259 |

| Rekkles (Sivir) | 5/6/12 | 449 | AN (Jinx) | 12/5/4 | 482 |
| Yellowstar (Shen) | 2/5/16 | 79 | Albis (Tahm Kench) | 1/7/15 | 68 |
Fnatic started the game with a perfect gank and tower dive top, getting First Blood onto Huni for the second straight game. An aggressive play by Fnatic’s bot lane backfired, as AN took out Rekkles, but Huni and Reignover were able to follow up to make it a 2-1 fight.
ahq had a successful dive on the bottom lane to take out Rekkles, but YellOwStaR landed a perfect three-man Taunt to kill Albis with tower aggro and make it a 1-1 fight. Huni was picked off in the top lane, allowing ahq to tie it up, and Rekkles was picked to give ahq the first kill lead of the game.
An explosive team fight near Dragon went 4-3 in ahq’s favor despite a Huni double kill. Fnatic’s mobility allowed for a quick two-man pick to tie up the game, and a 3-1 FNC team fight took the lead back. ahq tied it up again and took Dragon, picking off Huni to set up what looked like a certain Baron. Febiven miraculously stole Baron, and the resulting team fight broke even 3-3.
Another error for Fnatic resulted in a 3-0 team fight for ahq, but Fnatic was able to respond with a 4-1 fight at Baron. Huni got picked off again (this time by Westdoor), allowing ahq to take Baron uncontested. That broke up the Fnatic base, taking two inhibitors and swinging the game firmly in ahq’s favor (despite a gold deficit).
With Fnatic looking on the verge of a loss, the team pulled off an incredible team fight in its own base, acing ahq and winning the game.

| Balls (Malphite) | 0/4/5 | 209 | Ziv (Darius) | 5/3/7 | 236 |

| LemonNation (Morgana) | 0/3/5 | 26 | Albis (Kennen) | 3/3/11 | 15 |
After a quiet first eight minutes, Hai outmaneuvered Mountain and Albis to get First Blood (before quickly being killed by Albis). Some more fancy Lee Sin play from Hai helped set up Incarnation for a kill on Westdoor, but ahq tied it up with AN’s first kill of the game.
The next team fight went 3-1 in Cloud9’s favor, picking up kills for Hai, Incarnation and Sneaky. Incarnation picked up another kill en route to C9’s first Dragon, and another after the objective to move to 4/0/1. The teams traded kills for a while, and C9 held a 10-6 kill advantage but trailed in gold at 25 minutes.
Then AN came through, as he did the rest of the day for ahq. He picked up a quadra kill near Baron, ahq got the ace and the objective, and the game appeared to be firmly in control. Another fight went 3-1 in ahq’s favor (despite Hai picking off AN at the beginning), and C9’s base was broken up as a result. ahq aced C9 soon after, securing its spot in the quarterfinals.
