The tweet was deleted quickly, as the Royals stormed back with five runs in the eighth and two in the ninth to take a 9-6 lead. If there’s going to be an all-Texas ALCS, the Astros will probably need to win a Game 5 in Kansas City.
And if there isn’t going to be an all-Texas ALCS, know that it’s Gov. Abbott’s fault. He flew too close to the sun on tweets made of wax. We’ll remember him fondly.
