Lane Kiffin blocked Nick Saban’s timeout call and turned out to be right
In the third quarter of the Alabama-Texas A&M game during a crucial fourth-down play, Nick Saban and Lane Kiffin graced us with another awkward moment between the two. As Alabama was about to snap the ball, Nick Saban ran toward an official to try to get a timeout, but in mid-attempt, Kiffin threw a stiff-arm Saban’s way, blocking his attempted timeout.
Turns out Kiffin was right, as Alabama converted the fourth down!
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a disagreement between the two and certainly won’t be the last.
