Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will miss his third straight game Sunday as he continues to deal with an MCL sprain and bone bruise he suffered in Week 3. Michael Vick will continue to start for the Steelers as they host the Arizona Cardinals, with game time scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.
Ben Roethlisberger out again for Steelers, fantasy owners
The Pittsburgh quarterback hasn’t played since Week 3. We break down the fantasy implications.

Roethlisberger started the season strong with 48 fantasy points through two weeks, before suffering his injury in Week 3 against the St. Louis Rams. Vick took over to finish that game and has started the two since. The Steelers have split the two games Vick started, but his numbers have been less than great, with 23 combined fantasy points in his two starts.
Fantasy impact: Roethlisberger was expected to be out four weeks at least when he suffered the injury, so word early in the week that he might play in Week 6 -- not even three full weeks removed from the injury -- always seemed somewhat optimistic. Still, the fact that Roethlisberger was apparently as close as he was bodes well for his chance at a Week 7 return.
With Vick as the starter, the Pittsburgh passing attack has suffered. Wide receiver Antonio Brown has gone from a fantasy superstar to just another guy, and the guys behind Brown barely warrant fantasy consideration right now. For Week 6, you’re still stuck using Brown, but avoid any other Pittsburgh receiver or tight end.
