It’s not often that college marching bands of two teams playing each other team up for a halftime show, but Cal and UCLA decided to get together for a historical lesson. During Thursday night’s game, the two bands did a show depicting the downfall of Troy.
Cal and UCLA bands combine to reenact the fall of the Trojans. Get it?
We’re sure this was just an educational historical reenactment and not a shot at USC.

Judging from the huge roar from the crowd when UCLA infiltrates the Trojan wall, it sounds like Bruins fans are extremely passionate about Greek mythology and reread the Iliad multiple times and developed very strong opinions.
We’re sure this has nothing to do with the fact that both schools have a rather strong distaste for USC. Who knows why Cal’s band chose to wear red-and-gold to depict the Trojan army!
