The 2015 World Series starts tonight. Somehow it’s the end of October already and we’re all going to gather around our televisions and radios. Listening, watching, waiting for that final call. The final out when one team will be crowned the new World Series champions. We don’t yet know if it’s going to be the Mets or the Royals, but that’s part of the fun of it all.
Every pitch and base hit will keep millions of eyeballs glued to boxes with pictures and hoping our eardrums don’t burst cause someone left the volume too high. In the true spirit of the pandemonium and chaos that’s about to ensue, here are the final outs recorded in the last 50 year for the World Series. And then if you feel compelled to do so, watch the last outs from 1952-1961, too. Might wanna pull up some popcorn or a tub of ice cream first, though.
