Most eyes will be on American Pharoah going for the 2015 horse racing grand slam of sorts in the Breeders’ Cup Classic on Saturday, but the festivities and racing begins at the 2015 Breeders’ Cup on Friday afternoon at Keeneland in Lexington, Ky.
Breeders’ Cup 2015: Post times, TV schedule for Friday’s races


NBCSN will cover Friday at the Breeders’ Cup for three hours beginning at 3 p.m. ET with host Tom Hammond, analysts Jerry Bailey and Randy Moss, plus handicappers Bob Neumier and Eddie Olczyk. Larry Collmus will call the races.
The first race on Friday is the Juvenile Turf, headlined by favorites Cymric (7/2 odds) and Airoforce (4/1), at 3:30 p.m., followed by the Las Vegas Dirt Mile at 4:10 p.m.
At 4:50 p.m., the Juvenile Fillies Turf will be run, with Harmonize at 7/2 odds, Illuminate at 9/2 and Catch a Glimpse at 5/1. The final race on Friday is the Longines Distaff at 5:35 p.m. PT, with Wedding Toast (4/1), Sheer Drama (9/2), Stopchargingmaria (5/1) and Got Lucky (6/1) headlining the field.
Saturday will follow with nine more races, culminating in the Breeders’ Cup Classic. But it all starts Friday from Kentucky.
