The Triple Crown-winning American Pharoah will be in action in the 2015 Breeders’ Cup Classic on Saturday, but first we have a slate of four races to get through on Friday, and they all have plenty to offer.
Breeders’ Cup 2015 live stream: How to watch Friday’s races online
The Breeders’ Cup gets underway on Friday, and here’s how you can watch online.

The Friday undercard includes the BC Juvenile Turf, the BC Dirt Mile and the BC Juvenile Fillies Turf races leading up to the BC Distaff for fillies and mares. The first three races carry a purse of $1 million, but the Distaff, run over 1 1/8 miles, will close out the day with a purse of $2 million. Multiple races on Saturday match that amount and two of them, the Longines Turf and the Classic, will eclipse that total.
Wedding Toast, a 5-year-old mare, trained by Kiaran McLaughlin and ridden by Jose Lezcano, has been the primary favorite for the Distaff. She has won her past three graded stakes races at Belmont Park. Untapable is the defending champion of the race, and I’m a Chatterbox has been a popular underdog pick for the race.
That race is set for 5:35 p.m. ET, with the first race, the Juvenile Turf run over a mile, will get underway at 3:30 p.m. Television coverage of Friday’s races will be carried by NBCSN, beginning at 3 p.m. and running through the end of the day’s races.
If you want to watch online, the place to do that is NBC Sports Live Extra, and you can check out their full Breeders’ Cup section here. Here’s all you need to know below:
