Jordan Reed leaves with concussion; situation murky for Washington, fantasy owners
The tight end left Sunday’s game late in the fourth quarter. We break down the fantasy implications.

Reed, the leading Washington receiver with DeSean Jackson out since Week 1, has 34 targets and 258 yards in four games. Wide receiver Pierre Garcon (216 yards) is the only other Washington player with more than 120 receiving yards so far.
Fantasy impact: Reed has a lengthy history of concussions; he missed the last chunk of 2013 with one. It’s too early to know the seriousness of the one he suffered Sunday, but anyone having Reed, considering his history of injuries, should already have had a backup plan in place. For now, hope Reed is back quickly, but approach your fantasy team as though he won’t be back at all.
If Reed does miss time, the next tight end up for Washington would be Derek Carrier, who has 131 receiving yards in his career. In other words, the team won’t look good at tight end, and will lean more heavily on Garcon and the team’s other wide receivers and running backs.
