Kobe Bryant is BACK. He played the entire first quarter of the Lakers' first preseason game against the Jazz on Sunday night. Things didn't start off so well for him. Then, he sunk a contested three-pointer and all was well. And then, he polished off his 12 minutes with the most Kobe-esque play imaginable:
Kobe Bryant used an entire 24-second shot clock to get THIS shot up

— Arash Markazi (@ArashMarkazi) October 5, 2015 Yes, 37-year-old Kobe dribbled out an entire shot clock to try for a buzzer beater in the first quarter of the first preseason game, only to chuck up a fadeaway rather than passing to one of the four other guys on his team. To their credit, they did a pretty good job of staying out of the way.
Black Mamba finished with five points, hitting 1 of 5 shots in his quarter of playing time.
