McNally’s, a Southwest Side pub with a history of taunting the Chicago Cubs and their fans, stayed true to form on Thursday. The pub at 11136 S. Western Ave. in Morgan Park used one side of its marquee to announce that customers will get free beer every time the St. Louis Cardinals hit a home run against the Cubs in the National League Division Series.
It’s already enough for Cubs fans to deal with their eternal rivals, the Cards. And now, with their crosstown rivals tag teaming on them, it will double the fan battle they’ll be faced with over the next week.
