Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford has not had much of a season in his first year with the Eagles. Sunday, he added injury to insult, spraining the AC joint in his left shoulder in the team's 20-19 loss to the Miami Dolphins. The quarterback also reportedly suffered a concussion
Sam Bradford strains AC joint; status up in the air for fantasy owners
The Philadelphia quarterback went down in the third quarter Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bradford completed 19 of his 25 pass attempts Sunday for 236 yards and a touchdown before leaving. For the season now, he has 11 touchdowns against 10 interceptions in nine games. Mark Sanchez filled in for Bradford after the injury, going 14-of-23 passing for 156 yards and an interception. It was the first action of the season for Sanchez.
Fantasy impact: The injury was in Bradford’s non-throwing shoulder, which is obviously better than the alternative. Still, while it hasn’t yet been confirmed, it seems reasonably safe that Bradford will miss at least a game or two while he gets over the shoulder joint and the concussion.
The good news is that anyone who has been relying on Bradford all season is far from the fantasy playoffs to begin with; he’s been bad most of the season, averaging just over 12 fantasy points a game. For however long Bradford might be out, Sanchez will fill in as the team’s starter, which he did last season with some small amount of fantasy success; Sanchez takes more risks, which leads to more turnovers, but also has the chance to result in scores as well. Bradford was basically off the fantasy radar as the starter, but Sanchez would be a little higher, perhaps in the late teens, a low-end QB2.
