Canelo with a nice combo, and Cotto is caught yet again, two flush shots. Body shot from Cotto. Canelo seems to be taking Cotto’s best punch -- the left hook to the body -- away from him, and the more right hands he lands, the more tentative Cotto might be about throwing it.
Cotto nicked with an uppercut, his counter left scrapes Canelo in return. Good lead right from Cotto. Cotto trying to jab and move again, as he did early in the fight. He’s taking away Alvarez’s big offense this round, at least. Alvarez with a lead right, blocked. Cotto shoots a counter uppercut, doesn’t get in clean. Canelo with a stiff jab. This was a nice little bounce-back again for Cotto. Canelo may have done a bit more damage, but Cotto was steady in his attack and did the right things tactically.
