Anthony Davis was helped to the locker room with a leg injury after banging knees with Chris Paul in the open court in Friday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Pelicans said the injury, which occurred with 2:48 remaining in the third quarter, was a right knee contusion with no structural damage, per Fox Sports' Jennifer Hale.
Anthony Davis carried off court with knee injury
Oh no.

He did not return to the game.
Davis had already missed three games earlier this year with a hip problems and has yet to play more than 68 games in a season. The Pelicans’ entire roster has been ravished with injuries, contributing to their miserable 4-11 start. Here’s video of Davis’ injury as it happened.
Fortunately, it sounds like Davis will be okay, but it’s never good to see a player needing to be carried off the court like this.
Davis is averaging 23.5 points on 49 percent shooting, plus 11 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game this season.
