Allen Hurns stretchered off field, hospitalized; fantasy status up in the air
The Jacksonville wide receiver was diagnosed with a concussion. We break down the fantasy implications.

Hurns caught four passes on nine targets for 42 yards Sunday, bringing his season yardage total to 758, to go with his seven touchdowns (one a game from Week 3 to Week 10). The fourth-quarter injury came on a low pass that Hurns moved head-first for, hitting both his head and neck on the turf in the process. He was motionless on the field after the incident and was carted off the field with his head and neck stabilized. The wide receiver gave thumbs-up to the crowd on his way off the field before being taken to the hospital and later tweeted out that he’ll “be okay.”
Fantasy impact: Officially -- so far at least -- all Hurns suffered was a concussion, which is scary in itself, but a relative relief given how much worse things could have been given how he looked after the fall. He’ll have to pass through the league’s concussion protocol, and will likely undergo more tests to see if there were any more injuries Monday. Nothing is official about Hurns’ Week 13 status, but at this point it seems highly unlikely he’d be able to make it back for the game.
Assuming Hurns is out, the team will lean even more heavily on No. 1 wide receiver Allen Robinson, with tight end Julius Thomas also seeing a bump. As for players who might be on the waiver wire, Bryan Walters and Rashad Greene have both had big games this season, and could replace some of Hurns' production. They're both dart-throws, but a Hurns absence would give them a chance at production.
