Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson didn't make it long in Sunday's game. The veteran receiver exited in the second quarter of the Buccaneers' 24-17 loss to the New Orleans Saints with a knee injury and didn't return.
Vincent Jackson leaves with knee injury, casting big question over fantasy status
The Tampa Bay wide receiver caught only one pass before leaving Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jackson was targeted only once before leaving the game, catching the pass for five yards. With Jackson out, the only Buccaneers who were targeted more than three times were wide receiver Mike Evans (four targets, three receptions, 39 yards), tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins (six targets, three catches, 31 yards) and running back Charles Sims (eight targets, six catches, 64 yards).
Fantasy impact: There was nothing definitive out of Tampa Bay Sunday to say this knee injury was an aggravation of or related to the knee injury that cost Jackson three games earlier in the season, but it’d be hard not to make that connection.
The team doesn't really have a next-man-up at wide receiver if Jackson were to miss more time; the closest thing is rookie Adam Humphries, who has 190 yards on the season and caught his first touchdown Sunday. If Jackson misses time, the best bet is that Evans, Seferian-Jenkins, Sims and running back Doug Martin just get more use.
