Jacksonville Jaguars running back Denard Robinson had a very successful run for a few games filling in a year ago. He might be called on to do that again, as starting running back T.J. Yeldon suffered a knee injury in the Jaguars' 51-16 win over the Indianapolis Colts Sunday, and Robinson had to fill in.
Fantasy football waiver wire advice: Denard Robinson fills in well for T.J. Yeldon
The Jacksonville running back could see an expanded role down the stretch. We break down the fantasy implications.

Yeldon left Sunday’s game with a sprained left knee after 11 carries and 62 yards. Robinson replaced him to the tune of 75 rushing yards, 12 receiving yards and a rushing touchdown. The status of Yeldon and his knee will likely be updated Monday.
Fantasy impact: Robinson had a four-game stretch last year in which he scored four touchdowns and averaged almost 105 yards per game. If Yeldon is forced to miss time (a knee injury for a rookie on a 5-8 team could be reason to shut him down), Robinson has that sort of upside in brief spurts.
Robinson was owned in only 4 percent of Yahoo! fantasy leagues as of Sunday evening. That number should skyrocket in the days to come, especially if Yeldon is confirmed out for a game or more. If Robinson is the team’s starting running back, he’ll be a mid-range RB2.
