JaVale McGee gets dunked on and makes it worse by pretending he was always paying attention
Typically, posterizing dunks are admired in astonishment and also a little fear over how it all went down, but when it involves Mavericks center JaVale McGee, the script changes just a little.
On Wednesday against the Indiana Pacers, McGee -- who seldom plays -- was viciously dunked on by C.J. Miles. It’s a great dunk and should be applauded but McGee inadvertently made it hilarious with his defense. For one, he doesn’t even notice the attacking player until it’s way too late.
To make matters worse, he still thinks he can block an already-airborne Miles and jumps anyway, only to be immediately supplanted by Miles’ momentum. JaVale, you just made a bad situation even worse!
