Jason Day’s wife Ellie released from hospital after being run over courtside by LeBron James
Scary interruption to the Cavs-Thunder game.

Ellie Day I hope you're doing okay! My apologies! Hope u guys come back to another game soon. Love LJ!
— LeBron James (@KingJames) December 18, 2015 The TNT broadcast reported Day was “up and talking,” but left the court with a brace around her head. Jason Day appeared to follow with her. As you can see from the video below, Day had very little time to react before James ran into her attempting to save a loose ball.
Jason Day left the game with Ellie. The game was briefly stopped while medical staff tended to Day and James came over to check on her during the time out, not realizing at first how serious it was.
LeBron James says when he crashed into Ellie, didn't think it was serious at first. Felt like typical run-in with a fan sitting court side.
— Chris Haynes (@ChrisBHaynes) December 18, 2015 An eye-witness who was behind Ellie Day says she banged back of her head on the floor upon impact with LeBron James. "It happened so fast."
— Chris Haynes (@ChrisBHaynes) December 18, 2015 While Day did go to Metro Hospital in Cleveland, she told James she’ll be OK.
UPDATE: LeBron tweeted support for Ellie Day after the game.
