After a promising rookie season, hopes were high for Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater entering 2015. He has fallen far short of those expectations, entering Week 15 with nine touchdowns against eight interceptions with only two 300-yard passing games and seven games under 200. He turned things around Sunday, though, with a monster performance in the Vikings' 38-17 win over the Chicago Bears.

Bridgewater completed 17 passes on only 20 attempts Sunday. That was only good for 231 yards, but included four touchdown passes and no interceptions, and he added a rushing touchdown and 17 yards on four rushing attempts. That gave Bridgewater more touchdown passes than incompletions. He put up 32 fantasy points Sunday, his best number of the season by a full 13 points.
Fantasy impact: The Vikings are an offense that runs through Adrian Peterson first, last and always, keeping Bridgewater's upside in check. Sunday, Peterson sprained an ankle, left the game for a while and came back gingerly, giving Bridgewater more of a chance to shine.
Early indications about Peterson’s status are that he should be active for Week 16, which puts a ceiling on Bridgewater’s potential. The second-year quarterback still has a bright future, but he might not realize it again in 2015.
