The debate around the running backs for the Chicago Bears entering Sunday was whether fantasy owners wanted Matt Forte or Jeremy Langford. So of course it was Ka'Deem Carey who scored twice for the Bears in their 26-21 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Fantasy football waiver wire advice: Ka’Deem Carey plays vulture for Bears
The running back scored two touchdowns and did little else. We break down the fantasy implications.

Carey had seven carries Sunday for 16 yards and a touchdown, and also caught his lone target for a one-yard score. Forte and Langford still led the way in yardage (Langford had 83 yards on 19 carries, Forte had 54 on 11 and caught three passes for 23 more), but it was Carey who found the end zone, scoring his second and third touchdowns of the season.
Fantasy impact: Carey saw some limited run earlier in the season when Forte was sidelined with an injury, but when Forte and Langford have both been on the field, there haven’t been many carries left for Carey before Sunday. He was owned in zero percent of Yahoo! fantasy leagues as of Sunday night.
Clearly, this isn’t the start of a new paradigm in Chicago; Forte and Langford are still the backs to own. The problem, though, is that the chance of further vultures by Carey dings the stock of the other two. Carey isn’t worth much of a fantasy look, and Forte and Langford will be ranked lower because of his presence as well.
