Vernon Davis suffers concussion; fantasy stock sliding
The tight end hasn’t done much so far with Denver. We break down the fantasy implications.

There was no update on Davis' status immediately after the game, but he'll certainly enter the league's concussion protocol and have to pass all the way through before he can play again. The Broncos host the Oakland Raiders Sunday afternoon next week.
Fantasy impact: It’s not like Davis has been any great shakes this season; he has 316 yards on 30 catches and 46 targets this year. In five games since joining Denver, he’s at 122 yards on 12 catches, 16 targets. He still hasn’t found the end zone on the season.
Davis is still owned in 51 percent of Yahoo! leagues, most of those likely stashing him as an upside tight end. But the upside that Davis once possessed seems to be gone now. He can safely be dropped in just about all formats even if he doesn't miss any time with the injury. If he is out for some time, it likely won't change anybody else's roles meaningfully; Owen Daniels should still be a middling TE2, and Virgil Green is nothing beyond a super-deep dive with minimal upside.
