Long snapper tries to boost NFL chances by leaving koozies in bar bathroom

NFL teams will think of you every time they drink a beer. And the warmth from their hands won’t even make the beer gross!

It’s hard to get a job as an NFL long snapper. There are only 32 jobs in the NFL, snappers frequently play 10 or more years, and if a team has a snapper who hasn’t messed up, they aren’t likely to invest the time and effort into finding a new one. (And NFL snappers rarely mess up.)

So one long-snapper in Indianapolis resorted to an interesting strategy to get noticed:

Coggins isn't actually at the NFL Draft Combine -- the only snapper there is Navy's Joe Cardona -- so Coggins is a long shot, to say the least. But it doesn't hurt to try, and this is one way to try.
