Perfect Mike Fisher pass leads to Craig Smith goal

Nashville’s second line has had a productive night against Minnesota.

Mike Fisher’s production has been a pleasant surprise this year. After missing extended time with an Achilles injury, the veteran forward has registered 32 points (14 goals, 18 assists) in 41 contests -- providing Nashville with some much-needed scoring depth.

Thursday's matchup against Minnesota is shaping up to be one of his best in recent memory. A goal 16 seconds into the middle frame tied the game at one, and several minutes later, he chipped a beautiful pass to linemate Craig Smith, who drove to the net and beat Wild goalie Devan Dubnyk. With this tally, Smith reached the 20-goal mark for the second consecutive season.
