Pats parade set for Wednesday morning
Said parade will be held in Boston, and was originally scheduled for Tuesday at 11 a.m. ET, but was pushed back due to the weather. It was pushed a day forward, to Wednesday, but all other details seem as though they’re the same as they were originally. Provided the weather permits, the parade will proceed as planned Wednesday morning, with a route from Prudential Tower to City Hall.
If you can’t make it out to Boston for the parade, or if you don’t want to freeze while doing so, you’re in luck. The parade, as has been the case in recent years, will be broadcast on the NFL Network. It’s all slated to begin at 11 a.m., though if you’re hoping to watch online there’s also options available to you.

The parade had originally been scheduled to begin Tuesday at 11 a.m. ET at Prudential Tower in Boston. However, with the temperature expected to stay below 20 degrees with a wind chill near 0, concerns for the public’s safety convinced the city to wait a day for the celebration.
The Mayor’s office released a statement:

Mayor Marty Walsh originally announced that the parade would begin Tuesday at 11 a.m. ET at the Prudential Tower and end at City Hall, but weather concerns convinced the city to push the celebration to Wednesday. The exact route wasn’t announced, but the parade is expected to journey along Boylston Street, Tremont Street and Cambridge Street before it concludes at Government Center. Unlike with previous Patriots victory parades, this one will not end with a rally afterward at City Hall due to the snow accumulation in Boston.
Now the challenge for the city of Boston will be to prepare the roads for a parade with snow already enveloping the city and as much as a foot of snow expected to come down Monday as well. The weather forecast won’t make things any easier -- the temperatures could be as low as 12 degrees with a wind chill near zero. Just last week, one Boston man braved the snow to shovel out the Boston Marathon finish line.

Details for New England’s celebration are in the works and will be released on Monday, according to Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, via WMUR TV.
There are usually some vague details surrounding a parade on the day of the Super Bowl, but as reported by NBC early on Sunday, neither the Patriots organization nor the city of Boston were willing to give up any information. As noted in the piece, it’s possible that both were being tight-lipped due to superstition. Nobody would blame them for that, as sports fans in general tend to be a superstitious lot.
