Antoine Mason returned to the Auburn basketball team for the first time in two weeks after the death of his father, Knicks legend Anthony. When he took the court in the team’s SEC Tournament matchup against Mississippi State, he had a message on his shoes:

In the days before Anthony’s death, Mason delivered a beautiful statement about his relationship with his All-Star father:
”The cool thing is in certain games, if I mess up or do something, I can picture him with his facial expression, and I start laughing and get into a comfort zone. We have like a deep connection. He doesn’t have to be here for me to know he’s watching me.“We hope Anthony can give Antoine a little bit of help on the court Wednesday.
