North Carolina Central played its first MEAC Tournament game against Coppin State. There was massive bloodshed, as the Eagles won 91-43. But perhaps the biggest win was via press release:

WASN’T THE 50-POINT WIN ENOUGH?

— Luke Zimmermann (@lukezim) March 12, 2015 Most of the times teams just say the score and which players played well. NCCU went YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH and stared down the pitcher while the homer flew 500 feet.
They definitely have a point: NCCU went 16-0 in conference play, winning 11 by double digits. They’re ranked No. 91 in Ken Pomeroy’s rankings. No other MEAC team is above No. 182, and seven are below No. 320. LeVelle Moton’s squad are head-and-shoulders above their opponents, and it’ll be a disappointment if they don’t get to go dancing.
Update: And two days later...welp.
That snaps a 35-game conference win streak!
