Update: Jones has pneumothorax, or a partially collapsed lung, and will be reevaluated next weekend, according to Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle. Jones will miss at least one game, since the Rockets play the Suns at home on Saturday.

Terrence Jones was hospitalized overnight on Thursday after being struck in the ribs in the first quarter of the Rockets' 118-108 win against Denver.
“I think Terrence will be done for a little bit,” Rockets coach Kevin McHale told CBS. “I think it’s pretty sore, so we’ll have to go with Josh [Smith] and Joey [Dorsey].”
McHale said Jones' overnight stay was precautionary so that doctors could run more tests on him. Jones started Thursday's game well, scoring 10 points in nine minutes before suffering the injury. The Rockets won easily thanks to James Harden, who scored a career-high 50 points.
Jones has already missed a large portion of this season, sitting out of 41 games with nerve damage in his leg. Since his return, he has been posting career-high numbers, averaging 12.4 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.6 blocks this season. Still missing Dwight Howard, Houston will likely play small until Jones is able to return.
