BYU and Louisville are matched up in the first round of the women’s NCAA Tournament, and this ugliness happened:
Louisville women’s hoops player levels BYU player with vicious shoulder check
This is about as brutal as a play as you’ll see on a basketball court.

That’s Louisville’s Mariya Moore winding up and intentionally ramming BYU’s Makenzi Morrison in the face with her shoulder, earning a flagrant foul. Somehow, she avoided being ejected for this.
The good news is Morrison was okay -- she hit both free throws.
Louisville was up big, so it’s not like this was out of frustration with the scoreline. This stuff shouldn’t happen, and Moore probably shouldn’t play next game.
