Butler only had the ball because of a double dribble call on Notre Dame: Zach Auguste -- a 6'10 center, not the guy typically assigned to bringing the ball upcourt -- clearly started dribbling, briefly held the ball with both hands, and started again:
Nice catch by the ref to make a call you’re typically not looking for in a crucial moment:
