Nets hurt when referee calls jump ball on made shot
This is weird. Bojan Bogdanovic drove right into Kelly Olynyk, who stayed vertical and got his hands on the ball, which normally results in a tie-up. The problem is that Bogdanovic kept pushing and actually muscled the ball into the basket as the whistle was blown.
It didn’t look like his feet hit the ground before he pushed the shot through Olynyk, so this shouldn’t have been a jump ball. Nevertheless, the call stood.
This has to be the first jump ball on a made basket in NBA history. If it’s happened before, please alert me.
Update: YES Network showed an angle where Bogdanovic’s foot was on the ground as he shot. Still: how did he make that shot?
